Nursing Associate
A nursing associate is a new member of the nursing team in England. This role is designed to help bridge the gap between health and care assistants and registered nurses.
Nursing Associates provide anticoagulant monitoring, some injections and vaccinations, wound care, ear care, blood specimen collection, ECGs, blood pressure monitoring, diabetes foot checks and advice, urine checks and healthy living advice.
