Antenatal Clinic
When you are informed you are pregnant please contact reception and they will direct you to the midwifery service. The midwife holds clinics on a regular basis at the surgery. The midwife manages the consultation system so all communication regarding consultations is via the midwife.
Minor Surgery
Access to minor surgery clinics are by prior assessment and referral by the doctor.
Diabetes, Heart Disease, Stroke, Primary Prevention/Hypertension Clinics
Are arranged via phone, text, or letter. Consultations are made via reception. Patients usually see the trainee nurse associate or health care assistant for blood tests blood pressure, height weight and urine tests and foot checks. After the tests an arrangement is made for review with the specialist nurse who will have test results available to enable the planning of care and treatment changes.
Asthma and COPD Clinics
Are arranged via phone, text, or letter. A consultation will be made via reception with one of our specialist nurses to review or commence a care plan and treatment management.
If you have stable asthma and do not feel like you require a review with the nurse you can complete an online questionnaire. You will have to be registered with Systmonline please follow the link below.

Physiotherapy Clinics
We have access to book telephone consultations with a Physiotherapist for a musculoskeletal assessment. These consultations are available to be booked by reception.
Other Clinics
Anticoagulation monitoring and rheumatology monitoring all take place in the Medical Centre throughout the week. Clinics are also held with counsellors and the dietician. Contact reception for details on how to access clinics.
Family Planning
We offer a range of contraceptive services including fitting and checking IUCD (coils) and cap etc. All consultations are, of course, in complete confidence regardless of age or marital status. The Practice is able to direct you to other contraceptive services that may not be provided directly by the practice, for example contraceptive implants.
